Non-E-ZPass customers will receive an invoice in the mail. The invoice will be sent to the registered vehicle owner.

A PA Turnpike TOLL BY PLATE invoice will include a TOLL BY PLATE logo that looks like a license plate on the top. It will include one photo of your vehicle and will invoice all tolls for travel through a TOLL BY PLATE location that posted for this vehicle during the monthly billing period. Additional images of the vehicle may be available online. The invoice will be a multiple page document.

The first page of the invoice contains summary information about the registered owner of the vehicle, account activity and payment options. The bottom portion includes a Payment Remittance stub that should be sent in with any mailed payment.

The second page of the invoice includes detailed account activity for all TOLL BY PLATE transactions that posted for this vehicle during the billing period. This activity will include toll charges for each time you drove through a cashless tolling point as well as any payments or adjustments applied to this invoice. It also includes frequently asked questions about the TOLL BY PLATE system.

The third page of the invoice contains an Appeal Form which should be sent using the Appeal Remittance at the bottom of the page. This form can be used to appeal the invoice within 30 days of the invoice date as an E-ZPass customer, leasing/rental company or if you believe that you received the invoice in error. Please call the PTC E-ZPass Customer Service Center at 1-877-736-6727 and select Option 3 to reach the TOLL BY PLATE department who can assist in completing the form.

If the original invoice is not paid or resolved within 30 days, a Past Due invoice with a late fee will be issued. This invoice will resemble the original invoice but the Appeal Form will be different.
