PA Turnpike Advises of Traffic Restrictions on Turnpike I-576 (Findlay Connector)
Single-lane patterns, starting Sept. 14, slated for next four weeks

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling eastbound on Turnpike I-576 (Findlay Connector) that single-lane patterns will be in effect between U.S. Route 30 (Exit 2) and U.S. Route 22 (Exit 6) in Allegheny County. The restrictions will be in place weekdays, beginning Sept. 14 through Oct. 16 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. This schedule is subject to change depending upon weather.

These weekday lane closures are needed to allow crews to complete the installation of the digital message boards onto the steel sign structures. Motorists should plan accordingly.

Message boards will be activated on Turnpike I-576 to alert motorists of the traffic restrictions.
