Weekend Closure Planned on Fort Cherry Road in Washington County
Closure needed Sept. 11 to 14 as part of PA Turnpike’s Southern Beltway Project.

 

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is alerting motorists that Fort Cherry Road (State Route 4037) will be closed between Noblestown Road (State Route 4037) and Skyview Lane in Washington County starting Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. due to the construction of the Southern Beltway (Toll 576).

This section of Noblestown Road falls within Robinson and Mt. Pleasant townships. A 10-mile detour will be posted directing traffic around the closure, which will be in effect until 5 a.m., Sept. 14.

During the closure, crews will be finishing a temporary roadway that will allow traffic to flow through the area while work continues on Fort Cherry Road.
