Convenience Stores Inside PA Turnpike Service Plazas to Undergo Systems Upgrade
Fuel, convenience store purchases not available during upgrade.

Starting Monday, May 11 at 9 p.m., 7-Eleven will perform a systems upgrade, changing every point-of-sale (POS) system over to 7-Eleven systems in all 17 service plazas along the PA Turnpike.  During the upgrade, which takes approximately six hours to complete at each location, fuel and convenience store purchases will not be available.  The upgrades will last through June 3.  

Below is a list of scheduled upgrades starting at 9 p.m. on their respective days.  Work schedules are subject to change.

7-Eleven acquired the Sunoco convenience stores inside the PA Turnpike service plazas in early 2018.  A rebrand will also be taking place in the coming months, changing all signage to reflect 7-Eleven as the new convenience store.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, all service plazas will have limited staffing for the safety of the employees of HMS Host and 7-Eleven, which operate the PA Turnpike service plazas. Fuel and all convenience stores inside the service plazas will continue to remain open 24 hours a day.  Motorists using the Pennsylvania Turnpike service plazas should keep in mind that no inside dining or seating is available, patrons should not congregate, and everyone is encouraged to maintain a 6-foot distance.
