PA Turnpike to Close Overnight July 21 between I-95 and Bensalem Interchanges
Six-hour closure needed for bridge beam installation in Bucks County.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike advises motorists that I-276 will be closed westbound on Sunday, July 21 from 12:01 a.m. to 6 a.m. between the I-95 Interchange, Exit 40, and the Bensalem Interchange, Exit 351, in Bristol Township, Bucks County.

The closure is necessary for the protection of motorists and workers so crews can safely install new bridge beams at milepost 351.6.

Motorists are also advised of single-lane closures between the Delaware Valley Interchange, Exit 42, and the I-95 Interchange, Exit 40, on Saturday, July 20 starting at 7 p.m. to prepare for the closure.

Westbound Detour

Follow I-95 south to Exit 35 for State Route 63 west/Woodhaven Road to U.S. Route 1 north towards Morrisville onto North Roosevelt Boulevard. Reenter the PA Turnpike at the Bensalem Interchange, Exit 351.

Pennsylvania State Police and Turnpike personnel will be positioned at the impacted areas to assist drivers. Changeable message signs will also provide information on closures and detours. Motorists are encouraged to plan travel accordingly. Work schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
