Closures Scheduled at Delaware River Bridge for Toll Equipment Maintenance
Motorists should avoid the area during peak travel times this weekend

The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising motorists traveling westbound on Interstate 276, to be prepared for slow-moving or stopped traffic approaching the Delaware River Bridge, Exit 359, in Bristol Township, Bucks County June 29 – July 1.

The westbound, right lane will be closed from 8 p.m. on Friday, June 29 through 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 1 for planned tolling equipment maintenance.

Motorists travelling from New Jersey into Pennsylvania will be able to utilize the left lane. However, travelers should avoid the area during peak travel times between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday as significant delays are expected.

Motorists heading westbound into Pennsylvania should consider using an alternate route. Message boards will be activated to alert motorists of any delays.
