Entrance to Pennsylvania Turnpike at Delaware Valley Interchange to Close Overnight May 21  Four-hour closure needed for construction work.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists that the entrance to the PA Turnpike from the Delaware Valley Interchange, via State Route 13, will be closed May 21 from 12:01 to 4 a.m.

The closure is necessary for the protection of motorists and workers, so crews can safely complete construction work at mile post 358 in Buck County.

Some single lane closures and traffic stoppages may occur May 20 during the night-time hours to prepare for the closure.

Suggested Detour

Take Route 13 south to Street Road (Route 132) west to U.S. 1 north and enter the PA Turnpike at the Bensalem Interchange.

Pennsylvania State Police and Turnpike personnel will be positioned at the impacted interchanges to assist drivers. Changeable message signs will also provide information on closures and detours. Motorists are encouraged to plan travel accordingly. Work schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
