Pennsylvania Turnpike Advises Motorists of Possible Delays
Between Wyoming Valley and Keyser Avenue
Overnight traffic paces planned July 22.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists travelling between the Keyser Avenue Interchange, Exit 122, Lackawanna County, and the Wyoming Valley Interchange, Exit 115, Luzerne County, that they may experience delays due to intermittent, 20-minute traffic paces scheduled between 12:01 and 5:00 a.m. on July 22.

During the paces, Turnpike maintenance and state police vehicles will restrict Turnpike traffic to a speed of 20-25 miles an hour. The paces are needed for workers to safely remove bridge beams at milepost A120.68 in Lackawanna County.  Some single-lane closures and traffic stoppages may occur July 21 during the nighttime hours to prepare for these paces.

Motorists in the area should be prepared for slow-moving traffic and possible stoppages.  Work schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
