PA Turnpike Closed Eastbound at Butler Valley due to Truck Fire

The PA Turnpike is now closed eastbound between the Butler Valley Exit (#39) and the Allegheny Valley Exit (#48) due to an overturned tractor trailer which has caught on fire at milepost 46.1. The tractor trailer, which was carrying U.S. mail, overturned and is blocking the left, center and right lanes.

Eastbound Detour:

Take State Route 8 North (1.7 miles), right turn onto State Route 910 East (10 mile), left turn on Freeport Road (7/10 mile). Reenter the PA Turnpike at the Allegheny Valley Interchange. Follow signs to Harrisburg and East.
