Express E-ZPass Ramp Closures Scheduled for April 11 at Lansdale Interchange

Six-hour closure needed for toll equipment maintenance.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike advises motorists traveling on the Northeastern Extension (I-476) to the Lansdale Interchange, Exit 31, Montgomery County, to be prepared for slow-moving or stopped traffic.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on April 11, the northbound Express E-ZPass exit lanes 13 and 14 will be closed until 12 p.m. Then from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., the southbound Express E-ZPass entry lanes 11 and 12 will be closed.  The closures are necessary for planned maintenance work of the overhead and underground tolling equipment. These lanes are only used by E-ZPass customers.

Conventional E-ZPass lanes will still be available to E-ZPass customers and they are located on the left side of the interchange. Motorists should be aware that the conventional E-ZPass lanes have a speed limit of 5 mph. Work schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
