Possible Weekend Traffic Delays on PA Turnpike in Somerset County
Single-lane restrictions needed to recover truck over an embankment at milepost 101.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling eastbound on the Turnpike this weekend of possible delays in Somerset County between Donegal Interchange, Exit #91, and Somerset Interchange, Exit #110. Traffic will be restricted to a single lane from milepost 100 to 102 eastbound beginning at 6 a.m. on May 14, so crews can safely remove a commercial vehicle over the embankment at milepost 101.

A crane will be in place to remove the contents of the trailer which consisted of cleaning materials. Once the contents of the trailer are recovered, the crane will be used to remove the truck and trailer beginning at 6 a.m. on May 15 with all lanes being reopened to traffic by noon.
