Pa. Turnpike Advises Motorists of Possible Delays Between Allegheny Valley and Butler Valley
Overnight westbound traffic paces planned for April 12.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling westbound between the Allegheny Valley, Exit #48, and the Butler Valley, Exit #39, interchanges, that they may experience delays due to four intermittent, 20-minute traffic paces scheduled between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. tonight.

During the paces, Turnpike maintenance and state police vehicles will restrict Turnpike traffic to a speed of 20-25 miles an hour, allowing crews to complete pavement marking application. The paces will allow work to be completed without jeopardizing motorist or worker safety.

Motorists in the area should be prepared for slow-moving traffic and possible stoppages.  Work schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
