Ramp Closures Scheduled for April 1 and 2 at Route 903 ‘E-ZPass-Only’ Interchange 
Eight-hour overnight closures needed to service and fine-tune electronic toll equipment.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike advises Northeastern Extension motorists using the Route 903 E-ZPass Only Interchange, Exit 87, in Carbon County, to be prepared for slow-moving or possible stopped traffic on April 1 and 2 as the on and off ramps will close overnight to enable technicians to safely service overhead electronic toll equipment.

From 10 p.m. on April 1 until 6 a.m. on April 2, the northbound exit ramp will be closed. During the ramp closure, northbound motorists will not be able to exit the Northeastern Extension via Exit 87 onto State Route 903.

From 10 p.m. on April 2 until 6 a.m. on April 3, the southbound entry ramp will be closed. During the ramp closure, motorists travelling on State Route 903 will not be able to enter the southbound Northeastern Extension.

During the closures, motorists should seek alternate routes by using the nearest available interchange on I-476 depending on your direction of travel.
