Express E-ZPass Lane Closures Scheduled for March 29 at Mid-County
Closure needed for routine maintenance of electronic toll equipment.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike advises motorists traveling southbound on the Northeastern Extension, Interstate 476, and northbound on the Blue Route, Interstate 476, to be prepared for slow-moving or stopped traffic approaching the Mid-County Interchange, Exit 20, in Montgomery County on Tuesday, March 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The closure is needed for crews to perform routine maintenance on electronic toll equipment.

Customers exiting the Northeastern Extension at the ramp to enter I-276 westbound may also experience delays.  Multiple conventional E-ZPass and cash lanes will remain open at all times for traffic exiting the Turnpike system to continue southbound on the Blue Route to I-76 and I-95.

Work schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
