Bridge Work to Impact Traffic on Pa. Turnpike Between Warrendale and Cranberry
Single-lane pattern will be in effect westbound this weekend for bridge deck work.

The Pa. Turnpike Commission (PTC) advises motorists traveling westbound that delays are possible between the Warrendale Toll Plaza (milepost #30) and the Cranberry Interchange (Exit #28) due to work that needs to be done on a bridge deck. Beginning at 7 p.m. on Nov. 20, a single-lane pattern will be in effect westbound between mileposts 31 and 29 until 2 p.m. on Nov. 22.

The lane restrictions are needed to allow crews to safely work on the bridge deck at milepost 29.72, which carries the Turnpike mainline over State Route 19 (Perry Highway) in Marshall Twp., Allegheny County. The work will proceed as weather permits.

Motorists should be prepared for slow moving traffic in this area and obey posted speed limits in the work zone. For emergencies, dial *11 on your mobile phone.

Travelers can get Turnpike traffic alerts by calling 866-976-TRIP (8747) or visiting the live Travel Conditions Map online at www.paturnpike.com/webmap. The Pa. Turnpike’s smartphone app, TRIP Talk, streams audio advisories to iPhone and Droid users so they can keep their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.
