Pa. Turnpike To Close Overnight Between Bensalem and Delaware Valley Interchanges
Five-hour closure needed to erect overhead sign structure on Oct. 25.

The Pa. Turnpike Commission (PTC) advises motorists that the toll road will be closed between Bensalem (Exit #351) and Delaware Valley (Exit #358) interchanges from midnight until 5 a.m. on Oct. 25, 2015.

The closure is necessary to allow the contractor to erect overhead pipe structures needed for hanging the Express E-ZPass lane signs for the future Neshaminy Falls Mainline Toll Plaza.

The recommended detour for eastbound motorists: exit at Bensalem Interchange (Exit #351), take U.S. Route 1 south to State Route 132 east to U.S. Route 13 north, reenter the Turnpike at Delaware Valley Interchange (Exit #358).

The recommended detour for westbound motorists: exit at Delaware Valley Interchange (Exit #358), take U.S. Route 13 south to State Route 132 west to U.S. Route 1 north, reenter the Turnpike at Bensalem Interchange (#351).

Alternate route cards will be available to customers at both Bensalem and Delaware Valley interchanges during the closure. Expect higher traffic volumes on the detour roads during this time. Message boards will be in place to inform customers of the closure.

Turnpike motorists can get up-to-date travel conditions by calling 866-976-TRIP (8747) or by visiting the Interactive Travel Map at www.paturnpike.com/webmap. The Pa.
