King of Prussia Service Plaza to Have Limited Fuel Service June 8

Parking lot repairs to close gas pumps at Sunoco facility on Westbound I-276

The Pa. Turnpike Commission advises motorists that Sunoco will temporarily shut-down the gas and diesel pumps at approximately 8 a.m. on June 8 at the King of Prussia Service Plaza located westbound on Interstate 276 at milepost 328.4 in Montgomery County.

Construction work to repair a section of pavement in the parking lot behind the service plaza requires Sunoco to temporarily remove the fuel from the underground tanks while crews are working in close proximity to them. Fuel service will be restored once the work is complete.

Sunoco’s A-Plus Mini-Mart, restroom facilities and dining services inside the plaza will remain open during construction. The plazas are open 24 hours a day and offer a variety of fast food and full service dining options, restrooms and other amenities. An Electric Vehicle Charging Station is also available as this plaza.

The nearest plaza providing gas or diesel fuel is the Peter J. Camiel Service Plaza located westbound on I-76 at milepost 304.8.

If the contractor cannot finish the work due to weather issues, the same restrictions at the service plaza will apply on June 9.
