I-76 WB DETOUR HAS BEEN LIFTED AT THE VALLEY FORGE INTERCHANGE (EXIT #326) - REDUCED SPEEDS REMAIN IN EFFECT
The accidents that occurred on I-76 westbound between the Valley Forge and Downingtown interchanges have been cleared. The detour is now lifted and the Pa. Turnpike is open to traffic westbound. Back-log was cleared WB.  
 
* * * The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission remains under a weather emergency (issued at 7:42 a.m.) with reduced speeds of 45 mph on I-76/I-276 between Blue Mountain (Exit #201) and the Delaware River Bridge (Exit #359) and I-476 from Mid-County to Lansdale (Exit #31).
 
All travelers are urged to reduce their speeds and keep alert for changing travel conditions. Emergency crews continue to plow the roadway. Do not attempt to pass trucks plowing or servicing the highway.
