Valley Forge Service Plaza to Have Limited Services Available on Sept. 30

PECO work to restrict power to Turnpike facility on Westbound I-76

The Pa. Turnpike Commission advises motorists that there will be no prepared food for approximately eight hours on Sept. 30 starting at 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Valley Forge Service Plaza located westbound on Interstate 76 at milepost 324.6.

During PECO’s work to fix a pole by the bridge that carries Valley Forge Road over the Turnpike, limited services will be available. Sunoco will remain open and fuel (gas & diesel) will be available. The restrooms inside the plaza will remain open. Burger King and Starbucks will be shut-down. No hot food or coffee will be available; however, customers will be able to purchase bottled water, soda, and prepackaged food items inside the plaza.

If PECO cannot finish the work due to weather, the same restrictions at the service plaza will apply on Oct. 1.
