Work on Rich Hill Road Bridge in Harmar Township Complete
The Pennsylvania Turnpike will lift traffic restrictions on the Rich Hill Road (T-662) Bridge in Harmar Township, Allegheny Co. on May 8 at 8 a.m. The bridge, which carries traffic over the Turnpike at milepost 46.3, was replaced in two phases to allow local traffic to utilize the bridge.

Since construction began in early 2013 the Middle Road Bridge at milepost 40 and Gibsonia Road Bridge at milepost 44.32 have been replaced, and Gibsonia Road Bridge at milepost 42.65 is under construction with a completion date of Dec. 2014. The bridge replacements are early action projects needed to accommodate the future total reconstruction of Turnpike from milepost 40 to 48.
