Traffic Restrictions at Pa. Turnpike's Beaver Valley Interchange This Weekend
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) advises motorists the southbound entry and exit ramps and the northbound entry ramp from State Route 18 to the Beaver Valley Interchange (Exit #13) will have an alternating one-direction traffic pattern controlled by flaggers starting on April 25 at 6 p.m. until noon on April 27, weather permitting. Minimal delays are expected for traffic using the ramps.  Turnpike mainline traffic and the northbound ramp to State Route 18 will not be affected.

This restriction is necessary to allow crews to perform the final paving and switching of traffic to the new bridge that carries southbound State Route 18 traffic to and from the Turnpike. This work is part of the future Beaver River Bridge replacement project. For more information about this construction project visit the Turnpike website at http://www.paturnpike.com/constructionprojects/mp12to14.

Travelers can get Turnpike traffic alerts by calling 866-976-TRIP (8747) or visiting the live Travel Conditions Map online at www.paturnpike.com/webmap. The Turnpike's smartphone app, TRIP Talk, streams audio traffic advisories to iPhone and Droid users so they can keep their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.
