Ramp Work Scheduled for April 23 at PA Turnpike’s Pittsburgh Exit Moved to April 24

Traffic restrictions necessary as crews make improvements to interchange ramps.

Due to the dropping temperature the work scheduled for April 23 has been rescheduled for April 24 between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m.  Westbound motorists entering and exiting the Turnpike will encounter alternating traffic patterns. Flaggers will be in place to control traffic.

The restriction is necessary while crews from Lindy Paving make repairs to the westbound entry and exit ramps. This pavement work is being performed under the Turnpike’s open-end roadway repair contract.

Travelers can get Turnpike traffic alerts by calling 866-976-TRIP (8747) or visiting the live Travel Conditions Map online at www.paturnpike.com/webmap. The Turnpike’s smartphone app, TRIP Talk, streams audio traffic advisories to iPhone and Droid users so they can keep their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.
