Groundbreaking Event Tomorrow: PA Turnpike Swatara Creek Bridge Project
Middletown, PA – Pennsylvania Turnpike CEO Mark Compton will hold a news conference tomorrow to commemorate the start of construction for the $48 million Swatara Creek Bridge Project. Other speakers will include PennDOT Secretary Barry Schoch, Turnpike Vice Chairman A. Michael Pratt and Turnpike Chief Engineer Brad Heigel.

Location: Swatara Creek Bridge at the Intersection of Newberry Road and Swatara Creek Road in Londonderry Twp., Dauphin County
 
Directions:
  • Follow PA Route 283 East toward Lancaster
  • Take Middletown/Hummelstown Exit (Vine Street)
  • Turn right onto Vine Street toward Middletown
  • Take first right onto Red Bridge Road
  • At T, turn left onto Swatara Creek Road
  • Turn left on Newberry, parking area is on right
 
The event is being held outdoors. Appropriate attire is recommended for this rain or shine event. Turnpike personnel will be on hand to direct guests.
