Due to an accident involving three tractor trailers, the Pa. Turnpike is closed westbound between Carlisle Interchange (#226) and Breezewood Interchange (#161). Emergency crews are on the scene and there is no report of injuries at this time. A detour route will be given to customers entering and exiting the turnpike at these interchanges.
Due to the winter weather conditions, the Pa. Turnpike Commission and the Pennsylvania State Police have implemented a reduced speed limit of 45 mph in the area between New Stanton Interchange (#75) and Morgantown Interchange (#298) in both directions.
