Pa. Turnpike to Close the Route 29 Interchange (Exit 320) Nov. 23

Tolling-equipment maintenance requires interchange to be closed overnight this weekend.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists using Interstate 76 between Downingtown (Exit #312) and Valley Forge (Exit #326) that the Route 29 All-Electronic Interchange (Exit 320, E-ZPass only) will be closed to eastbound and westbound traffic from 11:00 p.m. on Nov. 23 through 6 a.m. Nov. 24.

Motorists can exit the Turnpike westbound at the Downingtown exit #312 and eastbound at the Valley Forge exit #326 to access State Routes 29, Routes 202 and 401 and local roadways. Additionally, the entrance to the Turnpike from Route 29 (Morehall Road) and Atwater Drive will be closed.

The overnight closure will allow crews to complete important toll-collection equipment maintenance at the interchange. Digital message boards will be activated on the mainline (I-76) and Route 29 to alert motorists that there will be no Turnpike access.

Pennsylvania State Police and Turnpike maintenance personnel will assist with the closure until the work is completed and the interchange is reopened by 6 a.m. on Nov. 24. All work is weather sensitive and subject to change.
