All Pennsylvania Flags Lowered to Half-Staff in the Capitol Complex and at Commonwealth Facilities Statewide
At the direction of Governor Tom Corbett, all Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at Commonwealth facilities statewide are to be lowered to  half-staff immediately, in honor of State Representative Dick L. Hess, who passed away on September 6 at the age of 74.  Representative Hess was elected in 1987, representing Fulton County, as well as portions of Bedford & Huntingdon Counties.  Flags shall remain at half-staff through interment.
 
An update will be sent out when the funeral date has been set.  US flags are to remain at full-staff.
 
All Pennsylvanians are authorized to join in this tribute.
