| Travel Advisory: Crews Recovering Overturned Tractor Trailer Near Blue Mountain Tunnel Motorists advised to use caution and keep alert this weekend. |

| The Pennsylvania Turnpike warns motorists to use caution and keep alert as they travel eastbound near the Blue Mountain and Kittantinny tunnels Jan. 17 through Jan. 20. Crews will be working to recover a tractor trailer that is over the embankment at milepost 200.4 as a result of a December traffic accident. Starting at 7:30 a.m., Jan. 17, Turnpike maintenance personnel and Pennsylvania State Police will be conducting eastbound traffic paces in the area to allow crews to stage equipment on the eastbound shoulder to safely remove the truck’s cargo, the tractor and its two trailers from the accident scene. The recovery effort will require traffic paces throughout the weekend with work anticipated to be finished the afternoon of Jan. 20. In the event of inclement weather, the pacing schedule will be adjusted. No lanes will be closed while work is being done to recover the truck and its cargo, but motorists are asked to use caution in the area and pay attention to the roadway. Truck and bus drivers are required to use the left lane when traveling eastbound between mileposts 197 to 201. Changeable message signs will be in place to provide the traveling public with updated information regarding any traffic delays.
