All U.S. Flags to be Lowered to Half-Staff

President Barack Obama has issued a proclamation as a mark of respect for the memory and longstanding service of Senator Daniel K. Inouye, President pro tempore of the Senate. Flags are to be lowered to half-staff immediately and shall remain at half-staff until sunset on the day of his interment.
