FLAG NOTIFICATION

All US & PA Flags Lowered to Half-Staff

At the direction of Governor Tom Corbett, all U.S. and Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at Commonwealth facilities in Westmoreland County are to be lowered to half-staff on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, in honor of Marine Lt. Col. Christopher K. Raible of North Huntingdon. Lt. Col. Raible died in Afghanistan on September 15, while assigned to Marine Attack Squadron 211 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Flags shall remain at half-staff thru sunset on Wednesday, the day of his burial in Arlington National Cemetery.

All Pennsylvanians are invited to join in these tributes.
