Overnight Ramp Closure Scheduled off of PA Turnpike’s New Stanton Exit

Detour is necessary as crews make improvements to interchange ramps.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike will be closing the exit ramp from the New Stanton Interchange to Route 119. Starting nightly on Sept. 11 through Sept. 13 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m., motorists exiting the New Stanton Exit (#75) towards Route 119 and Turnpike 66 will be detoured.

Motorists will go through tollbooth, bear right to I-70 West. Go 1/4 mile to New Stanton Exit 57B, at top of ramp make a left on to Center Avenue, take I-70 East to Route 119 and Turnpike 66. Flaggers will control the traffic flow on Center Avenue to avoid backlogs on I-70.

The closure is necessary while crews from Lane Construction perform full-depth milling and paving on the ramp and shoulders to I-70. This work is being performed under the Turnpike’s open-end roadway repair contract.

Travelers can get Turnpike traffic alerts by calling 866-976-TRIP (8747) or visiting the live Travel Conditions Map online at www.paturnpike.com.
