| FLAG NOTIFICATION Lowering of Pennsylvania Flags in Bucks County |

| From: PA State Capitol Police Date: July 23, 2012 At the direction of Governor Tom Corbett, all Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at Commonwealth facilities in Bucks County are to be flown at half-staff on Tuesday, July 24, in honor of former State Representative Anthony J. Melio, who died on July 19 at the age of 80. Former Rep. Melio was elected in 1986 and retired from the Pennsylvania House in 2010. He also served in the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1949 to 1959. Flags should remain at half staff through sunset on July 24, 2012. All Pennsylvanians are authorized to join in this tribute. Click here to view the Flag Notification PDF. |
