Officials Mark Opening of Turnpike's New Stanton Service Plaza Media Invited to Cover Event on Monday, May 18 |

PITTSBURGH, PA (05/15/2009; 0814)(readMedia)-- WHAT: PA Turnpike CEO Joe Brimmeier and representatives of HMS Host Corp. and Sunoco Inc. will take part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the re-opening of the New Stanton Service Plaza. WHEN: Monday, May 18, 2008; 11:00 am WHERE: New Stanton Service Plaza, Milepost 77.6, PA Turnpike (I-76) Westbound HIGHLIGHT: New Stanton Service Plaza originally closed last fall to be completely rebuilt and expanded as part of a $170 million public-private redevelopment agreement. The $5.9 million New Stanton Plaza is the fifth new service plaza to be constructed on the Turnpike's mainline. Twelve additional plazas are scheduled for construction by 2014. |
