The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is advising motorists traveling I-476 northbound between the Lehigh Tunnel and the Mahoning Valley Interchange (Exit #74) to be prepared for overnight lane closures tonight, Wednesday, May 13, from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. and tomorrow, Thursday, May 14 from 6 p.m. to 3:30 am.

The contractor on the Lehigh River and Pohopoco Creek Bridge Project will be placing temporary pavement markings and concrete barrier in preparation for a new traffic pattern. Crews will be working northbound only in the vicinity of milepost A73.

Motorists are urged to stay alert for slow moving construction vehicles, stopped traffic, and lane closures. Posted speed limits will be enforced and fines doubled.
