DELAYS POSSIBLE FOR MOTORIST EXITING TURNPIKE AT PITTSBURGH/MONROEVILLE INTERCHANGE (EXIT 57)

Motorist exiting the Pennsylvania Turnpike’s Pittsburgh Interchange (EXIT 57) at Monroeville should be aware of a potential for travel time delays due to PENNDOT roadway work between Monroeville and the Churchill Exit (#10) on I-376 Westbound.

The roadway resurface project on I-376 started April 15, 2009 and has a completion date of November 1, 2010. The usual three lane highway will be reduced from three lanes to two lanes for the duration of the project. During peak travel times motorist exiting the Turnpike at Pittsburgh Interchange (EXIT 57) may experience delays.
