LANE RESTRICTIONS SCHEDULED THIS WEEKEND BETWEEN IRWIN, NEW STANTON EXITS

Motorists on the Pennsylvania Turnpike’s east-west mainline will encounter single-lane patterns between milepost 67 and 69 eastbound, and westbound from milepost 69 to 67. Weather permitting, single-lane patterns will be in effect for a 30-hour period starting at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18 until noon on Sunday, April 19.

The restriction is needed as part of the total reconstruction project of the mainline between mileposts 67 to 74. The contractor, New Enterprise, will be performing temporary median upgrades for a future traffic-pattern shift.

Motorist should be aware of the potential for delays during the afternoon hours on Saturday, April 18 and late morning on Sunday, April 19. Use caution when entering and exiting the Turnpike via Exit 67 (Irwin).
