A section of Liberty Hill Road (T-534) closed to traffic since July 2008, will be reopened to motorists by 5 pm on Friday, Jan. 23rd.

Liberty Hill Road passes under the Turnpike between the Irwin and New Stanton interchanges and, more specifically, between Pa. Route 136 and Madison Road.

The culvert at the Liberty Hill road underpass needed to be replaced along with associated utility work as part of preparatory work for a future realignment and widening of the Turnpike between Milepost 70 and Milepost 72.
