Six Turnpike Lanes Now Open Between Valley Forge & Norristown

Some minor wrap-up work to resume in the area after Thanksgiving.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike advises motorists who will be traveling the Turnpike this Thanksgiving holiday that there are now three lanes open in both directions between the Norristown (Exit #333) and Valley Forge (Exit #326) Interchanges.

Motorists should continue to obey the posted 55 mile per hour speed limit while construction crews wrap up some final work in the vicinity.

When construction restrictions are lifted after the holiday on Dec. 1, motorists can expect intermittent nighttime shoulder and lane closures as needed.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission would like to thank the thousands of toll paying customers who travel this section of the Turnpike for their patience during the past two and half years of this six-lane widening project.
