HARRISBURG, PA. (October 5, 2005) — The Pennsylvania Turnpike reports that State Route 230 between T Street in the Borough of Steelton and Mumma Street in the Borough of Highspire will be closed to traffic Wednesday Oct. 5 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Thursday Oct. 6.
Northbound SR 230 traffic will be detoured onto Eisenhower Boulevard to Paxton Street to SR 230. Southbound SR 230 traffic will be detoured onto Paxton Street to Eisenhower Boulevard to SR 230.
Traffic signs are posted along the detour route.
The detour is necessary for the installation of the new eastbound Turnpike River Bridge over SR 230. This work is part of the Susquehanna River Bridge Project.
The work is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION IN THIS AREA.
