TRAFFIC STOPPAGE ON THE PA TURNPIKE’S NORTHEASTERN EXTENSION

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising motorists to expect intermittent traffic delays and stoppages on Monday, December 20 between 10 a.m. and noonnorthbound from the Quakertown Interchange (Exit #44) and southbound from the Lehigh Valley (Exit #56) Interchange on the Northeastern Extension, as well as southbound traffic leaving the Allentown Service Plaza, while construction crews perform utility relocation work in connection with PennDOT’s Route 222 Bypass project.
