HARRISBURG, PA (OCT. 15, 2004) – The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission reports that a continuous single lane WESTBOUND will occur from Milepost 111 to Milepost 116 (Somerset County) beginning 10 p.m. tonight, Friday, Oct. 15 until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16.

Westbound Turnpike travelers can anticipate possible delays during the closure.

The single lane is necessary to switch traffic to begin the permanent median reconstruction from Milepost 111 to 116 as part of the Somerset Total Reconstruction.

The work is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.

MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION IN THIS AREA, AND REMEMBER TO GIVE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE HIGHWAY WORKERS A "BRAKE."
