Harrisburg, PA – Pennsylvania Turnpike lane restrictions will occur as follows:

DATES: A continuous single lane WESTBOUND will occur from Milepost 116 to Milepost 113 beginning 10 PM Friday, September 24 th until Noon, Saturday, September 25 th.

The work is weather permitting.

LOCATION: This work is from Milepost 113 to Milepost 116, Westbound, on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Somerset County.

TRAFFIC DELAY: Turnpike traffic should anticipate minimal delays Westbound during the time period listed above.

ADD’L INFO: Message boards will be present informing of the single lanes and Highway Advisory Radios will be broadcasting during this time.

PROJECT: The single lane is necessary for resetting temporary concrete barrier and other work associated with switching traffic to the next stage of the Center Work Area from Milepost 114 to 115 for the Turnpike’s Somerset Total Reconstruction project.

MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION IN THIS AREA, AND REMEMBER TO GIVE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE HIGHWAY WORKERS A "BRAKE."
