SINGLE LANE PATTERNS BETWEEN VALLEY FORGE

AND NORRISTOWN INTERCHANGES

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising motorists that beginning Monday, September 20 to approximately Wednesday December 22, between the hours of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday, there will be varying single lane patterns eastbound and westbound, between the Valley Forge (exit #326) and Norristown (exit #333) Interchanges while construction crews erect signs, set temporary barrier and survey the area. This is in preparation for the widening of the roadway and the demolition and replacement of the traffic Route 202 Bridge and the Flint Hill Road Bridge that crosses over the Turnpike. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN AND USE EXTRA CAUTION WHEN APPROACHING AREAS OF CONSTRUCTION – INCREASED PENALITIES CAN OCCUR IN ACTIVE CONSTRICTION ZONES.
