HARRISBURG , PA. ( March 4, 2004 , 5 p.m. ) — The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission announced that the westbound on and off ramps at the Blue Mountain Interchange (exit #201) in Franklin County are temporarily closed due to a tractor-trailer rollover.
All westbound motorists who had intended to exit at Blue Mountain should instead take the Carlisle exit (#226). Off-Turnpike motorists wishing to enter the Turnpike at Blue Mountain and go westbound should instead enter at the Willow Hill Interchange (#189) also in Franklin County .
The Turnpike expects that the ramps at Blue Mountain will reopen this evening sometime around 9 p.m.
The incident does not effect Turnpike “Main-Line” traffic. All eastbound and westbound lanes of traffic are presently open and moving without hindrance in the area.
