NEW TRAFFIC LANE PATTERNS NEAR THE
FORT WASHINGTON INTERNCHANGE

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Turnpike advises motorists that due to PENNDOT’s ongoing Route 309 widening project, there will be a switch in both eastbound and westbound traffic lanes between mileposts 337 and 339 near the Fort Washington Interchange (exit# 26/339) on Tuesday, June 24 and Wednesday, June 25 between the hours of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN AND TURN ON THEIR HEADLIGTHS WHEN ENTERING ALL CONSTRUCTION ZONES AND TO BE AWARE OF CHANGING TRAFFIC PATTERNS.
