TRAVEL ADVISORY:
Single-Lane Patterns at the Fort Washington Interchange

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising motorists that there will be multiple single lane patterns eastbound and westbound on the mainline Turnpike in the vicinity of the Fort Washington Interchange (Exit #26/338) Friday night, March 22, from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. as PENNDOT continues work on their Route 309 project.  Crews may also do some work off-of-the-roadway work throughout Saturday morning that is not expected to impact mainline traffic. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN AND USE EXTRA CAUTION WHEN APPROACHING AND ENTERING THE CONSTRUCTION ZONE AND BE AWARE OF CHANGING TRAFFIC PATTERNS.
