TRAVEL ADVISORY:
Single-Lane Patterns Near the Fort Washington Interchange

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising motorists that on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, January 7, 8 and 9, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., there will be single lane patterns both eastbound and westbound between mileposts 337 and 339, located approximately one mile east and one mile west of the Fort Washington Interchange (Exit #26/338). As part of PENNDOT’s ongoing Route 309 widening project, contractors are creating new traffic patterns on the Turnpike as they widen areas entering and exiting the interchange.  MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN AND USE EXTRA CAUTION AND BE ALERT TO CHANGING TRAFFIC PATTERNS WHEN ENTERING THE CONSTRUCTION ZONE.

Additional Route 309 project information can be found at www.309online.com.
