TRAFFIC ADVISORY:
Heavy Traffic Expected at Willow Grove Interchange
 Saturday, September 8 and Sunday, September 9
Due to Willow Grove Naval Air Show

PHILADELPHIA, PA - - The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising motorists to expect heavy traffic in the vicinity of the Willow Grove Interchange (exit 27) on Saturday, Sept. 8 and Sunday, Sept. 9. Over 350,000 people are expected to attend the nationally acclaimed Willow Grove Naval Air Show each day beginning at 9 am to 4:30 pm.  Expect delays southbound on Route 611 approaching the Willow Grove Interchange as thousands exit the Air Show at 4:30 pm. In order to speed traffic more quickly through the Interchange, toll collectors will hand out tickets to motorists as they enter the Turnpike. All entry lanes, including E-ZPass lanes will be open.  Extra Pennsylvania State Police, Turnpike maintenance and toll collection personnel will be on duty in the area throughout the busy weekend to assist motorists. 

MOTORISTS SHOULD REMAIN ALERT AND 
USE CAUTION AS THEY APPROACH THE INTERCHANGE.
