TRAVEL ADVISORY:
Single Lanes and Changing Patterns During Bridge Replacement Project

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Turnpike is advising motorists that beginning Monday, July 9 through late October 2002, a multi-staged bridge replacement project will begin over Phoenixville Pike and Morehall Road in Chester County. Expect single lane patterns on the Turnpike, eastbound and westbound approaching milepost 319 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on weekends. As the project progresses, traffic will be shifted to a new span while the old bridges are demolished and replaced. 

MOTORISTS SHOULD WATCH FOR CHANGING TRAFFIC PATTERNS THROUGHOUT THE CONSTRUCTION PERIOD. DRIVERS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN AND USE EXTRA CAUTION WHEN APPROACHING AND ENTERING CONSTRUCTION ZONES
