SOMERSET COUNTY TRAVEL ADVISORY: HARRISBURG, PA -- A portion of State Route 1007 (Shanksville Road) in the vicinity of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Stoneycreek Township, Somerset County will be closed for the replacement of a Turnpike bridge until the end of the year. DATE: Beginning Monday, April 30 and continuing until the end of 2001. LOCATION: S.R. 1007 (Shanksville Road) in Stoneycreek Township, Somerset County. DETOUR ROUTE: Traffic will be detoured over S.R. 1004 (Cornerstone Road) and Route 160. PROJECT: The existing bridge is being removed and replaced with a new concrete structure. MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION IN THIS AREA |
