TRAFFIC ADVISORY:
Brotherton Road in Somerset County to Close for Bridge Replacement Project

Effective Monday, May 7 and continuing until November 2001, State Route 1005 (Brotherton Road) in Stoneycreek Township will be closed where it crosses over the Pennsylvania Turnpike so that crews can remove and replace the steel girder overpass.

The posted detour for motorists bound from the north to the south side of the Turnpike will be SR 1003 (Coleman Station Road), SR 1001 (Stutzman Town Road), SR 1007 (Shanksville Road) and Pa. Route 31.

The same sequence in reverse will be posted for traffic moving from the south to the north side of the Interstate 76/I-70 mainline.
